Changes to public participation during the public meetings of the
Fort Mojave Mesa Fire District, effective April 1, 2020

Out of an abundance of caution, and in an effort to protect the health
and safety of our employees, residents and visitors during the COVID-19
pandemic, the Governing Board and Public Safety Personnel Retirement
System Local Board will hold their public meetings through online conferencing,
until further notice.

To access all public meeting agendas with instructions on how to attend the
meetings remotely, please visit www.fmmfd.org

Beginning with the April 21, 2020, Governing Board meeting, the District will
provide phone-in and online access options for public participation. The following
are instructions for each method of participation:

Online:  Each meeting agenda will include information to allow you to attend
the meeting via the Zoom meeting app. Once connected to the meeting, please
mute your microphone to avoid any background noise. The Chairperson will ask
for any attendees to state their name and address for the record. Attendees will
be given the opportunity to speak on any item on the agenda when that item is
being discussed.

Phone:  Each meeting agenda will include dial in information to allow you to attend
the meeting telephonically. Once connected to the meeting, please mute your phone
to avoid any background noise. The Chairperson will ask for any telephone
attendees to state their name and address for the record. Attendees will be given
the opportunity to speak on any item on the agenda when that item is being discussed.

Records: Each Board meeting is recorded. Records of these meetings can be
obtained by completing a Public Records Request form located on the District’s
website at www.fmmfd.org

Fort Mojave Mesa Fire District Board meeting is held:

Date:  Third Tuesday of each month
Time:  3:00 p.m.
Location: 1920 Camp Mohave Road, Fort Mohave

In accordance with state law, notice for all fire district
public meetings, along with agendas must be posted at
least 24-hours in advance of the meeting. Public notices
for the Fort Mojave Mesa Fire District are posted at the
following locations:
Fort Mojave Mesa Fire Department – Station 91
2230 Joy Lane
(Bulletin Board outside station)

Fort Mojave Mesa Fire Department – Station 92
1920 Camp Mohave Road
(Bulletin Board outside station)

Public meeting notices are also posted on the Fort Mojave
Mesa Fire District website. Please be advised that
only Station 91 and Station 92 may be relied on for official
postings under the Arizona Open Meeting Law. A technological
problem or failure that either prevents the posting of public
notices on a website or that temporarily or permanently
prevents the use of all or part of the website does not
preclude the holding of the meeting for which the notice
was posted, if the public body complies with all other
public notice requirements.
